Joe Casale, President, Chief Executive Officer

Joe has been involved in the R&D of groundbreaking communications technology for more than 40 years. His keen interest in microcomputers led him to explore the emerging field of electronic communications and he eventually expanded his focus to embrace the early Internet and guide early developments in the digital content space. Joe's decades of industry experience culminated in the launch of the industry's first real-time online ad delivery network, MediaNet. His commitment to quality and ethical business practises has fuelled the continued success of Casale Media since, and continues to position the company as an industry leader in premium, brand safe online media. Joe graduated from the University of Toronto and the Devry Institute of Technology as an Engineering Technologist in 1974.

  
Andrew Casale, VP Strategy
 

Andrew Casale has been with Casale Media as Vice President of Strategy since the company's founding ten years ago. Andrew is responsible for overseeing the deployment and execution of Casale Media's new products, as well as managing the needs of its thriving marketplace across the supply, demand and technology business units within the firm.

Most recently, Andrew's leadership has played a key role in developing and establishing Casale's premium RTB exchange, CasaleX.

  
Julia Casale-Amorim, Chief Marketing Officer
 

Julia has been with Casale Media as CMO since the company's founding. Julia is responsible for all facets of Casale Media's brand management, marketing and communications activities, driving the company's efforts to create value for marketers by connecting brands with consumers through premium media experiences. Prior to the inception of Casale Media, she worked as an editorial consultant for a number of dotcom start-ups and held analyst and UI design roles on several large scale e-application projects for a leading global computer manufacturer. Julia's early work as a freelance designer/copywriter combined with her background in project management, business analysis and functional design drives her grassroots approach to marketing. She contributes frequently to industry publications and is active in prominent trade associations including the IAB. Julia holds a Degree in Marketing Management from Ryerson University.

Alex Gardner, VP Network Operations
 

As VP Network Operations, Alex is responsible for helping a roster of top online publishers increase traffic and maximize earnings using online display. Alex's leadership has played a key role in developing and establishing Casale Media's network, MediaNet, as one of the largest online advertising networks in North America. Prior to joining Casale Media, Alex established himself in the heart of Toronto's financial sector, starting his career at AIM Trimark Investment and then moving on to the TSX Group. This strong background in analytics and finance has enabled Alex to successfully provide publishers with strategic solutions that maximize earnings and operational efficiency. Alex has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Queen's University.

  
Scott Steiner, Director of Advertising Sales, Eastern Region
 

A true media veteran, Scott has a combined 20+ year career on the agency, client, and sales sides of advertising. His multi-faceted role as Casale Media's Eastern Director of Advertising Sales includes strategic media consulting, business development and sales management across North America's largest advertising hub. Prior to joining Casale Media, Scott served as the Director of Media for Charter Communications, Media and Marketing Consultant for Burger King, and SVP of Group Media for Universal McCann. Scott graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing & Advertising.

 

  
Tony DeSena, Director of Advertising Sales, Western Region
 

Tony's career spans more than 3 decades in media, advertising and sales. Before moving west, Tony served as VP AMD for Ogilvy & Mather in New York and VP Media Director at BBDO Minneapolis. His roots on the west coast started at Foote Cone & Belding Los Angeles as SVP Media Director where he was instrumental in the agency's preliminary online and interactive media efforts. Following this, he moved to Daily & Associates to co-found the Dailey Interactive Group, the agency's former interactive arm, and continued from there to accept a role as Manager of New Business for Newspapers First in their Western Region. As Casale Media's Western Director of Advertising Sales, Tony builds on his extensive experience and expertise to coordinate advertising sales, media consulting, and project management for the Los Angeles office. Tony is a graduate of Saint John's University.

  
Barb Rogers, Director of Advertising Sales, Midwest Region
 

Barb brings close to 20 years of expertise in the field of advertising to her current role as Director of Advertising Sales for the Midwest Region, a position she has held since joining Casale Media in 2007. Barb began her career on the agency side, first in strategic planning then public relations at Bozell Worldwide, assisting on such accounts as Chrysler, Jeep and Little Caesars. Barb's experience selling all facets of media is extensive, having sold national broadcast cable, consumer print, and various interactive display programs to National and Regional advertisers throughout the Midwest for such companies such as The Weather Channel, Fox Sports Net, TV Guide and the Detroit Media Partnership. In her current role with Casale Media, Barb manages all aspects of advertising sales process throughout the Midwest territory, from educating clients on products and the industry to ensuring the delivery of ultimate value as the end result. Barb is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations.

  
MaryAnn Hogarth, Regional Sales Manager, Northwest
 As Regional Sales Manager MaryAnn is responsible for growing media revenue and fostering strategic relationships with west coast agencies and advertising partners. MaryAnn has been in the digital space for over 15 years and held sales and leadership positions in other media firms including Audience Science; her work as sales manager for San Francisco new media startup ifan led to the company's acquisition.
MaryAnn lives in Bellevue, WA and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
